Job Description for Sales Development Representative
- Establish and nurture direct relationships with customers through outcalls, live chat, social media and Email communication.
- Execute outbound calls to new and existing database to promote education services portfolio
- Manage inbound / website leads
- Identify and generate sales opportunities – upsell and cross sell within the defined territory and accounts.
- Manage all aspects of the full sales cycle – BANT Process and to assist the customers reach their business objectives.
- Position and sell the entire Training and Certification Portfolio – Classroom Trainings / Self-Paced / E Learnings / Experiential Learnings
- Understand the customer’s skill gaps and advise on the learning path and the value derived from our training solutions to address their skill gaps.
- In the process, become an education consultant and a trusted advisor to help our customers with their upskilling and certification needs
- Accurately forecast and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue driving growth in your account base.
- Drive new business (Hunting) as well as fostering / nurturing the existing account base (Farming)
- Collaborate and exhibit Teamwork with the cross functional team in the organization
- Aggressively reviews account activities in pursuit of new business or up-selling opportunities.
- Builds targeted sales pipeline and forecasts data driven sales activities.
- Drives revenue and contributes to the continued growth of Trainocate through consistently achieving individual and team quotas.
- Updates and maintains the Trainocate CRM system
Qualifications and Skills –
- Bachelor Degree
- 2+ years business-to-business (B2B) sales experience of IT and high-tech products/services is preferred
- A passion for Training & Certification and Technology
- Should have prior experience in a similar role with a solid track record of sales via outbound calling, inbound leads, prosecting via social media channels and email.
- Experience in customer service and relationship building are highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Should be able to articulate the value of a Training and Certification to Customers
- Passionate about sales development and building customer relationships
- Effectively use software packages and tools such as MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and CRMs
